Dewberry is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as a mid-level Water Resources Engineer in our Bloomfield, NJ office for water resource projects including stormwater management, roadway drainage, open channel and bridge hydrologic/hydraulic/scours analyses, and environmental permitting. Candidates will be working primarily with state and public agencies along with private clients, local municipalities, and/or public utilities to provide a wide variety of water resource engineering support.
Assigns tasks to and coordinates with technicians or administrative staff
B.S. Degree or higher in Civil Engineering (or related Engineering field), with emphasis in water resources
3+ years of related experience
Knowledge/experience with PondPack, StormCAD, HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS
Experience with drainage and stormwater collection, conveyance, and erosion control for transportation-related projects is strongly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with basic MS Office software
Knowledge/experience with NJDEP Land Use Regulation permitting.
