Background & Purpose of the Job

The Associate Channel & Category Development Manager (ACCDM) is responsible for ensuring channel and customer insights are incorporated in the development of brand and category plans and building execution against those plans in the context of retailer strategy.This role represents the customer in core organizational processes including S&OP, IBP/IPM & NRM. The ACCDM interfaces strategically across the business, representing Customer Development interests in cross-functional interactions.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Customer Facing Category Strategy/ Market Development:

  • Develop and implement price and promotional strategy for Natural Deodorant brands
  • Lead convergence of category plans between Brick & Mortar and e-commerce and also execution of customized offering

S&OP – lead consolidated CD input and own ‘output’, drive CD business performance

  • Drive Customer/ Channel/ Region input to the S&OP process for brand/ category.
  • Monitor implementation customer marketing plan

Cross Category Gifting and Men’s Grooming Channel Strategies incl Ecommerce/ Omni-Channel by geography to win in-store/ online

  • Drive distribution and product availability across channels at the point of purchase.
  • Retail margins and customer profitability

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Customer Development/ Sales experience
  • Strong understanding of Customer operations and channel drivers.
