As a Financial Analyst/Sr. Financial Analyst with the FreeWheel Publishers business unit you will be a key member of the finance team focusing on company-wide financial and headcount forecasting, consolidations, reporting and analysis. You will work closely with finance and business leadership to help them achieve financial targets and commitments.
-Collaborate with leadership team to set and monitor total company budget and impacts to the P&L
-Review, analyze, and forecast revenue, expense, headcount, and capital, with emphasis on tracking actuals
-Assist in managing monthly close processes, management reporting and analytics, as well as headcount monitoring and reporting
-Partners with Accounting Team during monthly Close to support the variance explanations between actual and forecast
-Oversee billing and collections process, demonstrating knowledge of basic revenue recognition principles
-Participate in the month-end revenue close by validating accruals, reviewing account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries
-Work with business personnel and teams such as accounts payable and procurement as needed to resolve issues and ensure complete and accurate expense postings in monthly financial results
-Maintain/improve and develop various Corporate financial models to support P&L forecasting, margin management and scenario planning including Monthly Forecasts, Annual Plans, and Long Range Plans
-Conducts various statistical and financial reports,as assigned.
-Gathers analysis and creates reports.
-Assists in budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses and related reports, as assigned.
-Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives, and determines emerging financial trends.
-Maintains statistical/financial databases.
-Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
-Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
-3 years of FP&A or business finance experience
-Expertise in building complex decision support models in Excel
-Analytical, problem-solving, advanced business acumen mindset, including demonstrated ability to think creatively and be resourceful within context of financial modeling, analytics, and strategic presentations
-Ability to work with, organize, validate, and manipulate large data sets within multiple reporting environments
-Strong understanding of accounting and the ability to draw upon knowledge in order to produce accurate forecasts; work closely with Controller's group to ensure accuracy and completeness during period-end close
-Experience with financial systems, including Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase strongly preferred; experience with Anaplan and Looker is a plus
