The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a key member of the Manny Cantor Center Marketing and Communications team who helps to create positive visibility and awareness of the Manny Cantor Center’s brand and provides critical communications support for our diverse range of programs.

A highly organized, self-motivated individual with a mix of creative, design, and communications skills, he/she will execute the design of all promotional collateral, and implement goal-based strategies through all forms of media, including print, digital, and social media. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications, and works collaboratively with staff across all Manny Cantor Center programs as well as agency-wide leadership.


  • Collaborates with the Manny Cantor Center departments

  • Partners with agency-wide communication and programming staff

  • Manages relationships with vendors and community partners


Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and implement strategic, goal-driven communications and marketing campaigns.

  • Design and handle production of all print and online promotional materials, including flyers, postcards, web banners, and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Create engaging content for a range of digital and print outlets as needed.

  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure successful planning and execution of marketing of events and program activities.

Marketing Adminstration

  • Administer marketing inventory and identifying programmatic and building needs.

  • Maintain and curate social media presence, email, website, and collateral production schedule.

  • Coordinate and oversee consultants and vendors, including printers, mail houses, and publicists.


  • Compile basic monthly marketing financial reporting, and other ad hoc administrative duties.

  • Compile monthly marketing report with website, social media, and email analytics.

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned, including event support.

  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.


Required Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of experience in marketing and/or communications

  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to details and an eye for developing efficient, internal systems and workflow

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in order to meet deadlines and revenue goals

  • Team player with a passion for building relationships and fostering partnerships, both internal and external to Manny Cantor Center

  • Self-motivated, able to problem solve, and work autonomously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent customer service skills; consistently courteous and respectful

  • Proactive, hands-on approach, as well as a professional work ethic

  • Outstanding knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Video editing a plus.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed (evenings and weekends)
