Senior Product Service Specialist - Ductless HVAC - Northeast
The Senior Product Service Specialist owns all strategic and operational aspects of serviceability for Ductless HVAC. Through cross functional relationships with technology, quality, manufacturing and distribution, they will ensure the product design, product functionality, product service literature, and training material is focused on serviceability to produce the best service and ownership experience. Serve as the “Voice of Service” on new product development programs, serviceability, quality and safety. This is a remote field-based positon, reporting to the Director, Product Management – Ductless HVAC.
What you will Do
Develop PowerPoint presentations, Brainshark, and videos to deliver service training for use in customer product training, installation, service and troubleshooting, to be presented in person and/or provided via Webex train-the-trainer sessions.
Responsible for development and deployments of product updates, features and benefits for sales and technical training sessions.
Support distributor or dealer projects from sizing equipment, field trouble shooting, commissioning application development, technical support of distributors and dealers.
Edit and suggest revisions to applicable product service literature (i.e. wiring diagrams, use and care manuals, etc.)
Author and develop Service Guide, Service Bulletins and Repair Bulletins. Collaborate with Technical Editor for final release to the field.
Provides post event reports, analysis on training events.
Modify marketing materials to meet customer requirements.

What you need to Succeed
Technical degree or technical training.
5 years of successful experience as an appliance field service technician and/or TAG experience
High school degree or equivalent GED
Strong problem-solver with a passion for training and customer support.
Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint presentations & Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in project oriented environment.
Demonstrated self-starter that works independently without work direction.
Travel – 30% Domestically, some internationally
Ability to challenge status quo and drive for performance excellence.
Prior experience developing and/or delivering technical training material
Decisive, high energy person with the ability to work in a fast pace environment.
