Job Description

Primary purpose and function of this position

The primary purposes for the Senior (Sr) Manager of CNE Training is to support US Field Nursing improve competencies that aid the team to provide value to the organization, the brands they support, the HCPs they educate and ultimately the patients who take Teva products supported by the CNE team. The Sr Manager will work closely with Commercial Development & Training, US Field Nursing, and Marketing Team in the development and execution of applicable tactics and training programs. The Sr Manager will liaise with the Marketing team on tactics, CNE needed resources, and be responsible for the development and delivery of CNE specific training curriculum. This will include oversight of key training needs across launch and in-line products, support of organizations analytical and system training needs, and appropriate skill development programs. The Sr Manager will also work with other cross functional departments as needed in development of CNE training material.

Major duties and responsibilities that are critical and necessary, and that must be done to achieve this position’s overall objective

  • Establishes and maintains close relationships with Marketing for launch and in-line brands as a liaison to assist in design and ideation of appropriate CNE tactics and resources needed.

  • Establishes and maintains close relationships with CD&T and vendor trainers to design and develop training programs that meet the needs identified.

  • Assist in the development of Field Nursing staff through effective teaching, training and coaching.

  • Assist in the design and delivery of management and leadership development opportunities including Field Trainer role.


Qualifications necessary to perform successfully in this position

Education required Bachelor’s in Business, Nursing, Management, Education or related field

Education preferred Advanced degree

Experience required 7-10 years in pharmaceutical field nursing, sales, marketing, and/ or training.

Experience preferred Knowledge in the therapeutics areas of Neurology, Psychiatry, and/or Respiratory. Previous documented success in Senior Manager Positions.

Nursing background. Adult Learning/ Training background.
